Ready to List and Sell

If you are ready to list, I'll arrange to see the property to obtain the necessary details for a thorough market analysis.

  • Research comparable sold and active properties, make comparisons based on square footage, age, tax records, appreciation patterns, quality, etc to arrive at a suggested market price.
  • Review and sign all necessary documents to list the property with me and RE/MAX Realty Group.
  • Gather all pertinent details of the property: measurements, permit information, septic and well information, POA details, etc. This is used to provide for the MLS listing as well as potential buyers.
  • Enter property into all websites, position signs, secure lockboxes, take photos, create brochures, and begin all other advertising.

Showings begin based on instructions provided.

When an offer is received, I take you through each step of the process from contract negotiations through inspection process to closing.

Marketing Plan

Objective: SELL HOME
Strategy: Work hard to use every tool available to maximize exposure for your property.  That may begin with updated photos, price re-evaluation, brochures, highest and best use review, and web presence.  You need a dedicated agent in a position to continually review and promote your property.  Call me.
Tools:  Research indicates that property purchases begin with the internet, thus, I aggressively advertise in this medium.  You will find your home on dozens of sites, including the Avery-Watauga MLS, Ashe MLS,,,,,, and, to name just a few.  Additionally, I use print media such as Homes and Land, The Real Estate Book, newspapers and classifieds (on and off the mountain), direct mail pieces, etc.  My office boasts the only Interactive TouchPoint System in Boone.

The Office and Team

RE/MAX Realty Group is centrally located in Boone in the Shops of Shadowline next to Pepper's Restaurant.  My office serves Avery, Watauga, and Ashe Counties and consistently performs as a top producing company for these areas.  Additionally, RE/MAX Realty Group is part of the largest producing real estate franchise in the world and boasts approximately half of the national advertising voice.

My office manager, Anitra, has been with our group since 2005 and is a significant addition.  She is a key support for me in my real estate business and assists in communications, listings/sales input, advertising, education and creates a very positive office environment.  You will get to know and appreciate her as well.
